Course Overview

Our Certificate IV in Business and Personal Coaching gives graduates the skills to implement coaching techniques, both in their professional and private lives. The course is designed specifically to suit those with busy lifestyles and is delivered in sixteen face-to-face days of training and learning.

The Certificate IV in Business and Personal Coaching is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as an Approved Coach Training Program (ACTP), and assists graduates obtaining their Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Membership.

We work with the proven techniques of:

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
  • Positive Psychology (particularly Martin Seligman’s Learned Optimism)
  • Brain Dominance
  • Solution focused approaches
  • FIRE UP Coaching®’s unique REACH framework

Course Structure

Module 1: Foundations for Positive Change – Utilising the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) for self and other awareness.

Units covered:
BPCCOA401A – Adopt a positive and flexible coaching style based on awareness of self and others.
BPCCOA402A – Establish foundations of the coaching relationship.

Module 2: Creative Planning and Prioritising – Learn the techniques and methodologies essential to support your clients or teams to plan and prioritise effectively.

Units covered:
BPCCOA403A – Build rapport and explore a client’s desires and intentions.
BPCCOA404A – Partner with client to develop a coaching plan to achieve desired outcomes.
BPCCOA405A – Facilitate client’s progress and accountability.
BSBREL402A – Build client relationships and business networks.

Module 3: Values Exploration and Belief Change – Develop your skills and ability to explore the complex area of values and beliefs to achieve the most fulfilling coaching outcomes.

Units covered:
BPCCOA406A – Challenge client to transform limiting beliefs and behaviour and align with core values.

Module 4: The Accomplished Coach – Understand and use advanced techniques to challenge and sustain greater commitment and accountability, as well as being able to effectively promote coaching within any work environment. In this module we expand on the previous units and the capacity to demonstrate coaching that aligns with the ICF Core Competencies.
